Nothing seems to have been heard of the six persons abducted from the University of Abuja staff quarters in Giri area of the Federal Capital Territory in the early hours of Tuesday.
The members of staff of the University including a professor and three of his children and other staff were abducted in there various houses within the University Quarters in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
Members of staff of the University of Abuja living at the University Quarters at Giri in Gwagwalada Area Council were thrown into pandemonium as they were visited by some armed bandits.
The invaders who were said to be shooting sporadically took away six persons from the staff quarters.

Though the police authority say armed and conventional personnels have been deployed to all the University campuses, the situation around the main campus says otherwise.
The University authority however says neither the school nor the family of the victims have been contacted by the abductors.
The FCT police command say personnels have been deployed to ensure safe release of the victims.
