The Managing Director, Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC), and super celebrity, Ali Nuhu, has urged that all hands should be on deck, in tackling the menace of the high rate of maternal and child mortality in Nigeria.
Ali Nuhu, who is the Global Champion of the United Nations Children’s Fund, (UNICEF), made the remark during a two-day meeting with Social Behaviour Change, (SBC) State facilitators in Nigeria, held in Kano.
The meeting was aimed at mobilizing both the State government and people in the communities, to support immunisation, stop early child marriage, join polio eradication and anti gender-based violence campaigns, encourage birth registrations, and stop stigmatism, among others.
