United Nigeria Airlines has appointed Adedayo Olawuyi as its new Chief Commercial Officer to drive expansion and strengthen commercial operations.
In a statement by its Public Relations Officer, Chibuike Uloka, the airline said Olawuyi brings over 18 years of aviation experience spanning commercial strategy, network planning, revenue management, and business development.
Before this appointment, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Uganda Airlines and held senior roles at Africa World Airlines in Ghana, as well as EAN Aviation Limited.
He also previously worked with Air Nigeria, formerly Virgin Nigeria Airways, contributing to commercial planning and operations.
Olawuyi holds an Executive Master’s degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from University of Ibadan.
The airline expressed confidence that his appointment will boost competitiveness and support its plans to expand routes within and beyond Nigeria.
