United Nigeria Airlines, UNA, has been admitted into the International Air Transport Association Clearing House, a development the airline says will strengthen its integration into the global aviation financial system.
In a statement shared with journalists, the membership became effective for transactions originating from February 1, 2026.
According to the airline, joining the IATA Clearing House enables it to settle interline billings, including passenger and cargo transactions, through a secure and centralised global settlement platform used by airlines worldwide.

The airline notes that the membership also lays the groundwork for future interline and codeshare partnerships with other carriers, as it works to expand connectivity and grow its regional and international operations for improved operational transparency.
In February, UNA had announced its intention to expand fleet to 11 by the second quarter of 2026 as well as commence operations in Dubai, New York and, London and Rome.
