There was pandemonium late Saturday night in Sabon Gari, Fagge local government area of Kano following the killing of one person by yet to be identify gunmen.
Sources familiar with the situation say one person was suspected to have died while others were injured during the attack.
The incident happened along court road by Niger road at about 11pm.
A viral video of the incident shows one lifeless body on the ground while passersby called for help.

Sabon Gari is believed to be dominated by non indigenes who have come to reside in the state and this attack is the first of its kind in the area.
The Kano state police public relations Officer Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa said he is yet to be briefed about the development.
