Two lecturers and eight students of Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic, in Zaria, Kaduna State, have been abducted by kidnapers in the early hours of Thursday.
Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the incident to journalists in Zaria.

The attack is the third of such actions by gunmen on tertiary institutions in Kaduna State.
Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic, Zaria, is 43 kilometers from Kaduna metropolis. Eyewitnesses said the gunmen gained entrance into the school premises, abducting two lecturers and some students.
A student of Statistics, Higher National Diploma (HND 2) was killed in the attack.
No demand has been made by the abductors.
The attack on Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic Zaria came at a time when Directors of State Services from the North-West are meeting to find a solution to banditry in the zone.
