Unknown gunmen have attacked Government Secondary School, Jangebe, Zamfara State, kidnapping some students of the school.
The number of those kidnapped cannot be ascertain.
The students were abducted in the early hours of Friday in an operation that lasted at least four hours.
The bandits arrived the school in a convoy of Hilux vehicles and motorcycles which they used to whisk the girls away.
The Zamfara State Police Command has not confirm the incident. It, however, told AIT to expect a press a statement on the development.
