Muazu Magaji, an APC political stalwart and former Commissioner for Works in Kano, was on Friday arrested by the Police in a gestapo manner after a television interview in Utako, Abuja.
Muazu was said to have been chased by a Police vehicle.
The car he was driving was pushed off the road before ramming into an electric pole.
A few of his associated said they were able to confirm his arrest when they visited the Utako Police station and that the Police were taking him to Kano.

The plan to arrest him in Kano last week failed.
Muazu’s lawyers have already filed a case in Kano against any form of intimidation and lawful arrest.
Muazu belongs to the APC faction of former Governor, Ibrahim Shekarau and the faction that controls APC in Kano.
Many believe Muazu’s arrest was ordered by Governor Abdullai Umar Ganduje.
