The abductors of the 15 students and 4 staff of the College of Agriculture and Animal Science in Bakura Local Government Area of Zamfara State are demanding N350 million as ransom.
The Provost of the college, Habibu Mainasara, said that he had spoken with each of the victims in captivity and is in good health.
He said that the bandits contacted him on the telephone, asking him to produce N350 million Naira before the captives could be freed.
Bakura Local Government Area where the College of Agriculture and Animal Science is situated at about one hundred and twenty kilometers from Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.

The bandits who invaded the College of Agriculture and Animal Science, in the Bakura Local Government last Monday, killing two security guards and one Policeman, abducted 15 Students and 4 staff of the college as confirmed by the police.
The bandits were reported to have gained entry through the pedestrian gate damaged the main gate for easy escape with the abductees.
The commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Akushie Sparks, who visited the college to assess the situation, assured that the corps is collaborating with other security agencies, to ensure the safe return of the students and staff of the College.
Mainasara appealed to the Government to do the needful, to secure the release of the 20 students and staff and to also ensure proper security in the country.
