Osun State Police Command has confirmed the killing of one Police Special Constabulary, Dauda Jelili in the bank robbery that took place in Iree, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State, on Thursday
The state Commissioner of Police who confirmed the incident, said efforts are ongoing to apprehend the perpetrators of the crime.

They are still in shock over Thursday’s attack on the two banks in the community and the death of a Police constabulary, Jelili Aladeokin.

The two banks located beside each other were attacked alongside a Police station.
Bullet holes can be seen on the wall of the police station and some vehicles
Wife of the late police constabulary was all in tears as her late husband was laid to rest in the town.
The state Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokede however said the operation could not have taken place without the support of some indigenes
He promised that the perpetrators would soon be brought to book
