Umar Usman Barambu from Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State has emerged new president of the National Association of Nigeria Students.
Usman kankia from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria emerged as Secretary General while Attah Felix from University of Jos, is NANS Senate president.
Others who emerged as executive members at the Election conducted in Abuja on Friday, September 2, 2022 are Victor Ezeagu, from Imo state university as Vice president National and Vanessa Egbeahie, from University of Benin as Vice President, international Affairs.
Three contestants were front runner to be NANS President, While other two from Bayero University Kano and ABU Zaria, were perceived to be sponsored by some political big wigs, Usman Barambu appears to be the choice of the Largest student body in Africa.
