Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has challenged agencies of government to think out of the box to show creativity in the discharge of their affairs.
Governor Emmanuel threw this challenge when he inaugurated the permanent office complex of the Uyo Capital City Development Authority, UCCDA in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital on Saturday, He said the era of depending on government to initiate everything was over.

For 31 years since its establishment the Uyo Capital City Development Authority, UCCDA operated from a rented apartment but that era has come with the commissioning of its permanent office complex. Governor Udom Emmanuel said the feat is a benchmark for other Departments and Agencies.
Governor Emmanuel commended UCCDA for uplifting safety and high standard of structures in the capital city, The Chairman of UCCDA, Enobong Uwah attributed the feat to the inspiration and support of the governor.
