Governor Hope Uzodimma

The government in Imo State, South East Nigeria has assured the leadership of Labour and Pensioners unions in the State that it will commence modalities for the payment of their gratuities and Check-off dues.

Uzodimma also directed the State Accountant General to immediately commence the payment of Check-off dues to pensioners, regretting what he explained as a delay in the process.

At the meeting, the Governor further assured the Labour and Pensioners Unions that he had directed the immediate release of promotions of the civil servants who were recently evaluated for elevation after being stagnated for several years.
