Some respite has come to the families of security personnel who lost their lives in the recent violent attacks in Imo State.
Governor Hope Uzodimma gave 5 million Naira to each of the families of the slain officers.
In the past weeks, Imo State almost became a theater of war, as major security facilities were attacked in different locations in the state.
Some officers on duty lost their lives during those violent attacks. Succour has, however, come to the families of the slain officers.

Governor Hope Uzodimma who regretted the unfortunate incidents handed over the sum of five million Naira to each of the families of the deceased.
Uzodinma also commended the security agencies for their steadfastness towards restoring peace in the state.
The governor, however, called on the security agencies not to be deterred by the unfortunate incidents of the past weeks, but to be resolute, to fight crime and criminalities in the state.
