Values Reorientation : FG Sensitizes Citizens On New national Anthem, Others In Zamfara

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has launched a campaign on the National Value Charter and anthem in Zamfara State aimed at reawakening the consciousness of the citizens on Nigeria’s core values and holding the government accountable for their promises.

The Director of Documentation, Translation and Publication NOA Headquarters, Abuja, John Asate, launched the campaign while addressing Newsmen in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, where he said they would ensure fairness to all citizens irrespective of religious, ethnic or political affiliations.

The fourth item on the charter is peace and Security, highlighting the need for government to ensure the security of lives and property to enable citizens go about carrying out their responsibilities in a peaceful
environment.

He also emphasized the need for citizens and the Government to imbibe tolerance, corruption-free, transparency, discipline, inclusivity, merit, equality, and duty of care among others.

Asate, urged Nigerians to support the Government as it has enacted many policies like the Student loan, Entrepreneurship which will impact the lives of the citizens, and he disclosed the agency’s planned roadshow, a visit to traditional and religious leaders, schools, and unions and hold town hall meeting.
