Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says the Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari has made significant efforts in improving the business environment in Nigeria through the implementation of its ease of doing business reforms.
Osinbajo said this in Abuja in his address to the 5th Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) Awards.
He reminded his audience how President Buhari in 2016, established the Council to improve the conduciveness of the business environment in the country, describing ongoing efforts as part of a continuous process.
The Special Adviser to the President on Ease of Doing Business, Jumoke Oduwole said the awards were designed to recognise individuals “who went over and above the call of duty” in the course of supporting reforms for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs operating in Nigeria, making the country an easier place to start and grow a business.
