A visually impaired journalist based in Niger State, Abubakar Mijinyawa has called on individuals and corporate establishments, including non-profit organizations to do more to assist the less privileged.
Mijinyawa who made the call when he was presented with a tricycle in Minna, the state capital by the Alms Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria, said he was surprised by the gesture as he had no foreknowledge of the presentation.
Ruqayya Musa, the beneficiary’s wife, was in tears and could not believe what was happening, She told ait.live that they encountered a number of challenges, including accidents in her husband’s course of duty as a result of his condition, Mijinyawa is a staff of the Niger State-owned Radio Station.
