The President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, NVBF, Musa Nimrod, has described the death of High Chief Raymond Dokpesi as a shock to the federation.
Nimrod who condoled with the Family, Management and Staff of DAAR Communications, described Dokpesi as a Pillar of sports in Nigeria.

Similarly, the Chairman of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Kaduna State Chapter, also said that High Chief Raymond Dokpesi is an icon in the broadcasting industry, whose absence will be felt.
Both the President of the NVBF and the SWAN Chairman, prayed to God to comfort the family, as well as the management and staff of DAAR Communications.
