Nigeria U-19 boys still have the opportunity to finish higher than their 14th place ranking at the last World Championship in Tunisia, despite losing to defending champions Italy in their round of 16 matches of this year’s tournament, taking place in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

Nigeria lost to defending champions Italy 25-14, 25-17, 25-17 in the round of 16 today.
They will now face Egypt in the 9th to 16th classification fixture on Tuesday.
