Voting began as early as 7.30 am in most polling units and voting centres in the greater Accra region in the Ghana general election.
At the Trinity polling station in Accra, electoral officials arrived as early as 7am, but voting started at 7.30am, after a clergy opened polls with a word of advice and prayers as agreed by all.
The clergy was one of the early voters.
He praised the process and eulogised the people to keep the peace.

Other centres visited voting activities were ongoing, except for a unit in Legon by pass where voting is yet to begin at about 8:45am.
The Electoral official said the delay is caused by absence of voting pad and other material.
Security apparatus and personnel in most of the stations visited were civil and well mannered.
