Governor Oborevwori said with the level of work done so far coupled with the assurances from the developing partner, the project would be completed before the year 2025 runs out.

At the 4.5-kilometre Oko-Amakom to Oko-Obiakpu main alignment road, the Governor said due to the topography of the area, the State Government would spend on the road much more than what it would have spent in constructing a 10-kilometre road elsewhere, a gesture he said was part of his government’s strong commitment towards enhanced economic development of rural dwellers.

Other roads inspected include Marine Road off Cable Point Asaba and the ongoing construction work on Leo Okonweze and Odozi-Obodo Streets off Ezenei Avenue in Asaba where he urged the contractor to redouble his efforts for its speedy completion.
