The Bayelsa State Government has announced the sum of #27.5b as money received instead of the #38b as widely circulated as the money from the Federal Government as refund for projects executed in the state.
Governor Douye Diri, who spoke through his Technical Adviser on treasury and accounts, Timinipre Seipulo, made the disclosure during the transparency briefing initiative of the state government for the months of November and December 2020 in Yenagoa.

Timipre Seipulo also gave a breakdown of the income and expenditure for the months under review.
He further announced the sum of N9.3B as the amount earmarked for recurrent and capital expenses, while the net balance after all expenditure stood at N16.9b as money left in the state coffers and carried forward from December.
