The Bayelsa State Government has announced the sum of #27.5b as money received instead of the #38b as widely circulated as the money from the Federal Government as refund for projects executed in the state.

Governor Douye Diri, who spoke through his Technical Adviser on treasury and accounts, Timinipre Seipulo, made the disclosure during the transparency briefing initiative of the state government for the months of November and December 2020 in Yenagoa.
