The Commandant of Nigerian Defence Academy, Major General Manu Yusuf, has assured the people of Zango Kataf of the support of the army to ensure their safety.
Major General stated this during a medical outreach programme by the Nigerian Defence Academy.
The medical outreach is part of activities marking this year’s exercise, “CAMP HIGHLAND,” for army cadets of Regular Course sixty-eight and over 1000 locals benefitted from it.

For the beneficiaries, People of Zango Kataf Local Government Area, said building an effective Civil-Military relationship, will encourage people to offer useful information to the military, on issues affecting security in the area.
The Men, women and children from ravaged communities where medical facilities are no longer accessible waited in line to access medical services.
The residents who expressed gratitude said, the gesture has opened a vista of relationship between the military and the locals.
The Army also drilled boreholes to address the shortage of water in the affected areas which include Akupal, Anguwan Bala and Angwan Yawa communities of Ikulu Chiefdom of Zango Kataf Local Government Area.
