Commercial Banks in Bauchi state North East Nigeria have adhered strictly to the directives of the Central Bank of Nigeria to open on Saturday and Sunday.
The apex bank directive is expected to ease the Naira scarcity that has pervaded the country for almost two months.
However, due to the high demand of customers for Cash, some Banks have introduced strict measures for gaining access to banking halls.

The operation was smooth In most of the Banks visited by AITOnline in the Bauchi metropolis with customers expressing satisfaction.
Most Banks in the rural were, however, under lock and key as it was learned that they were yet to receive cash from their Head offices.
The Bank customers want sustenance of the measure for the benefit of the people who have gone through hardship in the last few months.
