Vice President Kashim Shettima has called for African-led solutions to the continent’s economic challenges, emphasizing the need for local production and industrialization.
Speaking at the Accra Reset Initiative in Davos, Switzerland, he stressed that Africa must shift from import dependency to local production and from aid to investment.

He emphasized that prosperity is not imported, but built, and that Africa’s future depends on its ability to build domestic productive capacity.
