Deputy Imam of Al-habibiyyah Mosque, Mohammed Idris, says the operations of Africa Independent Television, AIT, in the last 29 years in Nigeria have been that of service to humanity and holding government accountable to its policies.
Idris said this during Jumaat prayers at the Al-habibiyyah Mosque in Guzape for AIT, as part of activities to mark its 29th anniversary.
He advised Muslim faithful on the essence of existence and the role of AIT in nation-building.

Some staff of AIT noted that the founder of DAAR Communications PLc, late High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, indeed set a template that will stand the test of time.
The worshippers offered prayers for AIT, as it celebrates 29th years of broadcasting in Nigeria.
