A 2019 report by the world health organization, W.H.O shows that Men are more likely to die before Women both in low and high income earning Countries.
Some experts in Lagos State, South-West Nigeria while reacting to the trend urged Men to place priority on their personal health and hygiene to avert avoidable deaths.

They also cautioned against dangerous habits such as smoking, excessive alcoholic consumption and wrong food choices especially as men advance in age.
In Nigeria, Male life expectancy is currently put at 53.7% with female standing at 55.62% translating to about seven years longer life span for Women.
