Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has presented land allocation documents to members of the FCT Council of Chiefs in a move aimed at strengthening ties between the Government and traditional institutions.
Speaking in Abuja, Wike also announced a full waiver of statutory fees for the land titles, acting on the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Responding on behalf of the council, the Ona of Abaji, Alhaji (Dr.) Adamu Baba Yunusa, expressed appreciation to both the President and the Minister, assuring continued support for government policies.

The Minister commended the monarchs for their role in ensuring what he described as the most peaceful Area Council elections in the FCT’s history. To further support their responsibilities, he pledged to provide utility vehicles to traditional rulers and highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects across satellite towns, including major road developments expected to be completed and commissioned in June.
