The Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, side Wikki Tourists of Bauchi, were on Thursday involved in an accident and their team Bus burnt to ashes.
The incident which occurred in the early hours of Thursday, February 18, 2021, took place near the popular Hawan Kibo road near Jos in Plateau State North Central Nigeria.
ait.live gathered that the Bauchi-based outfit were on their way to Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, to honour the NPFL match day 11 encounter against Dakkada FC.

Media officer of the Club, Nasiru Kobi, who confirmed the Development to ait.live, said, no life was lost in the inferno except for the car and their personal belongings which were burnt to ashes.
Reports say Management of Plateau United Football club has sent it’s team Bus to convey the Players and management back to Bauchi following the incident.
