The two non-teaching staff unions, in a letter to the Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, accused the government of neglect and insincerity to pay withheld May to August 2022 salaries.

In the letter, which was signed by the NASU General Secretary, Peters Adeyemi and SSANU President, Mohammed Ibrahim, the two unions said they could no longer guarantee industrial harmony in the universities.
