She urged members of the umbrella body for women societies in nigeria to emulate her exemplary lifestyle by working together to ensure that women in the country occupy their quota for the socio-economic development of the nation
Lami Adamu Lau, was until her death, the president of the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), the umbrella body of all women associations in Nigeria
She passed in the early hours of Wednesday, June 5, 2024, in a brief illness and was laid to rest in her hometown in Lau, Taraba State, in accordance with Islamic rites.
