World Cup Qualifier: Moffi, Chukwueze, Onyedika Start For Super Eagles Against Benin Republic

Super Eagles head coach , Finidi George has released his team list for tonight’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic.

Finidi makes three changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Bafana Bafana of South Africa last Friday.

Stanley Nwabali,who put up a good performance against Hugo Broos’ side will be in goal.

The quintet of Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi, Benjamin Tanimu and Calvin Bassey will also feature from the start.

Hatayspor star Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who scored on his competitive debut against South Africa will start from the bench.

Captain Wilfred Ndidi, Bright Onyedika and Alex Iwobi will take charge of the midfield.

OGC Nice star, Terem Moffi will lead the attack with Paul Onuachu making way.

Samuel Chukwueze will take the place of Kelechi Iheanacho, while Ademola Lookman will play from the left-wing position.
