Former FIFA President, Sepp Blatter and French Football Legend, Michel Platini were cleared of corruption charges by a Swiss Court on March 25, two and a half years after their initial acquittal.

The Court, in Muttenz near Basel, ruled after Swiss Federal Prosecutors appealed their 2022 acquittal.

The case involved a 2 million Swiss Franc payment Blatter authorized to Platini In 2011 for consultancy work dating back to 1998-2002.
