President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday sworn in Folashade Yemi-Esan as the substantive head of the civil service of the federation.
Esan, a native of Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi state takes over from Winfred Oyo-Ita who has been directed compulsorily retired from service amid investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC into an alleged N3 billion bribery and falsification of duty tour allowance.
The swearing-in ceremony which took place at the council chambers of the presidential villa shortly before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting was witnessed by Vice president Yemi Osinbajo, cabinet members and her family members.
