Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is currently chairing the first monthly National Economic Council (NEC) meeting for the year 2021 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum and Governor of Ekiti state Kayode Fayemi is physically attending the meeting, while other governors are attending the meeting virtually.

The meeting is expected to deliberate on issues of security, economy and the containment of the Covid 19 pandemic in the country.
