Gombe state government says it’s committed to creating a platform for the training of youths in positive ventures and building their minds away from negative vices such as youth restiveness.
Secretary to the state government Prof Ibrahim Njodi stated this while inspecting the proposed site for the establishment of the citizen and leadership center as well as the permanent site for the National Youth Service Corps Orientation Camp.
It was a timely visit by officials of the Gombe state government to a site for the training of youths in the state. The site situated in a community named Boltungo in Yamaltu Deba will serve the dual purpose of a citizen and leadership center and a permanent orientation camp for NYSC corp members
Secretary to the state government expressed satisfaction with the pace of work at the site.
According to the Secretary to the state government, the site would be ready before the end of the year.
