Youths of Shadnayi Community in Karu LGA of Nasarawa State have staged a protest against the demolition of houses by the Nasarawa state government.
One of the youths Iya Kauta said the State Government acted against an injunction of a High court sitting in Mararaba.
This was as the youths demanded immediate compensation from the Nasarawa State Government.
Speaking with AIT, the Attorney General of the State Abdulkareem Kana confirmed the demolition which he said was carried out for non-compliance with government building procedures.
