YSFON Gives New Date For Aisha Bala Mohammed U-15 Boys Football Tournament

The Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria ( YSFON) has given a new date for the third edition of the annual Dr. Aisha Mohammed ( Sarauniya) U-15 boys soccer tournament. It says the competition will now hold at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi from January, 18-25th, 2025.

According to information from the National Secretary of the Federation, Olorogun Patrick Okpavuerhe, states are to come for the tournament with 20 players who must be strictly under the age of 15 years with body weight of not more than 55 kg and maximum height of 1.72

The teams shall be accompained by three officials, one of whom must be a YSFON official
States were also reminded that arrival date is January, 17th and that on arrival, a member of the National Organising Committee and Bauchi State YSFON official will be on ground to receive the teams at the venue of the competition.

The National Secretary while reminding states that accommodation shall be provided in sports and school hostels for all participating teams stated that all players shall present three passport photographs for licenses while screening shall take place from 7 am on January 18, 2025.

Teams were also strongly advised to make provisions for their feeding and transportation of their players and officials as well as avoid night travels for the safety of their players and officials.

The tournament is being sponsored by the wife of Bauchi State Governor as part of her efforts to develop grassroots football in the country
