Police in Zamfara State have rescued nine kidnapped victims abducted from Kucheri Village in Tsafe Local Government Area, LGA of Zamfara State.
A statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Chief Superintendent Mohammed Shehu, noted that on April 13 2023, Police tactical operatives successfully rescued nine hostages, comprising seven females and two males, who were abducted on April 11 at Kucheri Village in Tsafe LGA of the state.
According to the statement, the victims were rescued was following credible information obtained from a good Samaritan.
The police say the victims have undergone medical checks at its medical facility in Gusau, where they were debriefed and reunited with their families.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Kolo Yusuf, congratulated the victims for regaining their freedom and reassured the public of the command’s sustained onslaught against the terrorists and other criminal elements in the state.
