The Commissioner of Police in Zamfara State, Muhammad Dalijan, says the Command has deployed its Anti-bomb Squad to the scene of the Talata Mafara’s Market explosion, to assess the situation, and restore normalcy.
Dalijan, said this while responding to AIT News Correspondent in Zamfara, Adamu Silas’s inquiry, via an SMS.
He said the Police Anti-bomb Squad is still studying what they have gathered from the scene of the incident, to professionally ascertain the cause of the explosion.
It would be recalled that on Tuesday, there was an explosion at the popular Talata Mafara Market, injuring over forty traders and buyers.
Two victims have reportedly died, while the other victims are currently receiving treatment.
