Zamfara State Governor Bello Mohammed has expressed sadness over a report confirming that forty-five persons were killed at Kadawa community by bandits, in the Zurmi Local Government Area of the state.
The Governor in statewide broadcast sympathized with the victims’ families; describing the attack as unfortunate, barbaric and cowardly.
Governor Mohammed said the state is more than ever determined to deal with ruthlessly with the perpetrators.

He said the activities of bandits have taken ugly dimension in recent time; killing children, women and the elderly, without any regard to the sanity of life.
The Governor said some invisible elements are behind the evil plot against the people of the state.
