Zamfara State Governor, Bello Mohammed has reshuffled his cabinet and redeployed 3 commissioners.
He has also assigned portfolios to the 2 newly inaugurated commissioners, who took oath of office recently.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Bala Maru, said the reshuffled cabinet is with immediate effect.
According to the statement, the cabinet reshufflement affected 5 ministries with Ibrahim Abdullahi from the Ministry of Education moved to Agriculture and Natural Resources, Abdulkadir Buhari from the Ministry of Youth redeployed to Water Resources, and Junaidu Mohammed is being moved to the Ministry of Social and Community Development.
The two newly inaugurated Commissioners, Abdullahi Gurbin Bore and Aliyu Mohammed were assigned and deployed to the Ministries of Higher Education and Education, respectively.
It added that Governor Mohammed has also approved the submission of two nominees to the State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners. They are Faika Mohammed Ahmed and Abu Makau.
In another development, the State Government has approved the submission of two nominees for the position of Local Government Sole Administrators to the House of Assembly for confirmation. The two nominees are Abubakar Shehu Daki Takwas and Aminu Suleiman Yarkofoji. They are to take charge of affairs in Bakura and Gummi Local Government Councils.

Governor Mohammed has also upgraded the Directorate of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, to a full-fledged Ministry.
