Zamfara State government has debunked the speculations that the Bello Mohammed administration is favouring the Fulanis at the expense of the Hausas.

The Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Suleiman Anka, said the state government under the leadership of Governor Mohammed is doing what is in the best interest of the citizens, irrespective of political, social or religious affiliations.

He stated this while speaking with ait.live in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, on the current efforts by the government to ensure the sustenance of peace and security in the state

Anka said the government under the leadership of Governor Mohammed has initiated empowerment programmes to alleviate the plight of all the citizens.

The Zamfara State Information Commissioner said the support that the Federal Government is providing in the ongoing war against banditry and other criminalities, is due to Governor Bello Mohammed’s zeal to end the prevailing insecurity being faced in the state.

On the fresh case of Coronavirus being recorded in the state, Anka said that someone just returned to the state with the disease.

The victim has been said to be on isolation to stem the spread of the disease, which for over a month has been without a single fresh case.
