Zamfara State government has threatened to demolish the office of the former Governor Abdulaziz Yari- led faction of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state.
The Special Adviser to the Zamfara State Governor on Urban Regional Planning, Anas Abdullahi, had served the Abdulaziz Yari’s faction with an eviction notice, to remove their billboard or else the law will take its course.
He had claimed that there is no APC faction in Zamfara State, except that of Governor Bello Mohammed.

He said all billboards of any APC faction in the state must be removed, as they contravened the law establishing the Zamfara State Urban and Regional Planning Board, ZUREP.
The Special Adviser denied that the move is politically motivated.
He warned any developer who did not secure approval for the building or to install a billboard in the state will not be spared.
