The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC in Zamfara State, has reiterated the commitment of the corps to rid the state of all manners of narcotics and prohibited drugs, in collaboration with the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency.
In a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Ikor Oche, the State NSCDC boss said this when he received the Narcotics Commander of the NDLEA in Zamfara State.
Commandant Sani Mustapha averred that illicit drugs and narcotics are primarily responsible for all the atrocities in the state.

He informed the media of the resolve of the Corps to partner with the NDLEA to stamp out the menace from Zamfara State.
The Commander Narcotics of NDLEA, Awoleye A., who was in the company of the other most senior officers of Narcotics, said there exists a synergy between the two agencies.
Awoleye thanked the State Commandant for, according the agency, the necessary assistance in ensuring that their operations and other activities are successful.
He solicited further collaborations with the Corps, in the fight against illicit drug dealers and addicts.
