This is coming on the back drop of resurgence of banditry activities, attacks and abductions, and threats to the Gusau metropolis in recent times.

The Zamfara NSCDC Commandant explained that the Command has beefed up its surveillance and patrol, to prevent any possible invasion and attack on any parts of the State, especially the State capital, Gusau.

The Commandant Sani Mustapha, says, it is in the light of this that the Corps has mobilised human and material resources, to ensure it safeguards the lives of the citizens during Ramadan fast and beyond, as well as protect critical national infrastructure and assets in the State.

He disclosed that the command has deployed well-armed personnel to the various critical national infrastructures and assets, to protect them, stressing that it is their leading mandate, and that the Commandant General, Ahmed Audi, has provided all that is required for them to deliver; hence, they have no excuse to fail in carrying out their duties.
