The Zamfara State Police Command under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police Abutu Yaro has created ten additional Police Out-Stations in different villages of the State to combat crimes.
A statement by the command Public Relations Officer, SP Mohammed Shehu, said that it has also deployed Tactical and Conventional Police Personnel, to the newly created outstations in order to promptly respond to distress calls and provide effective and efficient security services to the communities.
The idea is to build the public confidence about the police and enable them to go about their legitimate businesses .
The police out stations established in seven local governments areas in Zamfara state, includes Gusau, Maru, Maradun, Tsafe, Talata Mafara and Gumi

The Commissioner of Police while deploying the Police Personnel to the new outstations, charged them to be responsive, professional, and work in collaboration with the host communities.
The statement said he urged the benefiting communities, to provide the Police with the required logistics and support to function optimally and warned the recalcitrant bandits, to renounce banditry and turn to a new life.
