A Former House of assembly candidate and businessman Benjamin Rotimi, has emerged as the candidate of the Zenith Labour Party for the Ondo State Governorship Election coming up on on the 10th of October 2020.
At the Party’s convention held in Akure, the Ondo State capital Benjamin Rotimi beats his only challenger, Olusegun Esho to the post with 65votes against 20 out of 90 total votes cast while 5 votes were rendered as invalid. The winner later picked Olusegun Esho as his running mate.
The Zenith Labour Party primary, the first by any party in the State, was witnessed by a National leader of the party and former Governor of the state, Dr Olusegun Mimiko.
Officials of the Independent Nation Electoral Commission,INEC, also monitored the exercise.
