Pneumonia
Some health advocates have renewed calls on the need for proactive measures on the part of government to ensure more people are vaccinated against preventable diseases.

The call was made in Lagos State, South-West Nigeria on Sunday as part of activities to mark the 2022 World Pneumonia Day with the theme “Pneumonia affects everyone” with experts also noting that despite pneumonia being a vaccine preventable disease, it continues to pose great danger to life with more than 1.5 million cases recorded annually in Nigeria.
