The President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio has pledged to ensure that the 10th National Assembly under his leadership, enact Laws that would benefit and positively impact the lives of Nigerians
Akpabio said this on Saturday in Uyo, Akwaibom State Capital at a grand Reception Organised to mark
his 61st Birthday
He stressed that the senate will work closely with the House of Representatives to rejig and amend obsolete laws of the country to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the populace
On the Ongoing 2024 Budget , the Akwaibom born lawmaker re-echoed the commitment of the lawmakers to be transparent and properly scruntinize the proposed Estimate of the Federal Government

The president of the Senate also revealed plans to lead a delegation of senators to the Government of Kaduna state to commiserate with the people over the accidental Bombing by the Nigerian Army in Tundun Biri Village ,Igabi Local Government Area of the state.
The gathering thereafter observed a minute’s silence in honor of those who lost their lives.
